I'm blogging today about yet another observation. I've noticed that more and more malls are evolving to being outdoor establishments, quaint and village like. I've enjoyed the trend but something seems to be synonymous with every single one that I've visited. I will be walking along enjoying the great outdoors, shops and whatnot, when all of a sudden a kid flying a kite appears, or another child chasing birds by a fountain, or two kids on a bike with one riding on the handle bars. Oh, the list goes on, and if your reading this right now thinking "what's Will's problem?" I will tell you. My problem is not with the children itself but the fact that they're encased in bronzed iron and super creepy.
Why is this charming? All I want to do is find the white witch, slay her and free these kids from their prison. In the past I've been to places where they sculpt random adults and put them on benches or leaning against a wall or something. I guess this is the vibe that they're going for with these kids, but to me it's just lame and the aforementioned creepy.
If they insist on sculptures why not something more epic, like a warrior slaying an oversized falcon with a mace or a guy lifting a boulder.
If you need a visual, don't worry, I have pictures!
Much Love,
Will
A couple of summers ago at Brookgreen Gardens. A bunch of frozen kids pledging allegiance. Needless to say I joined them.

Sarah(with blonde hair) and the kids. So creepy.

An example of the mace held by the warrior.

Best picture I could find to illustrate a man of great strength lifting a boulder.
